It&#8217;s been <a href=\"http:\/\/cecilomar.com\/five-years-onboard-three-different-boats-im-a-cutterman\/\">five years<\/a> coming and going out to sea. I&#8217;ve been in places that I wouldn&#8217;t even think of going before. I&#8217;ve seen so many things. I&#8217;m sure going to miss it, but it will soon be time to leave and continue on with the rest of my life.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not going to lie, it&#8217;s been though. To be honest, I underestimated the USCG. It&#8217;s really not for everyone. You have to have some special type of character, patience, and perseverance. They make a good job not letting people that cannot endure such burden in bootcamp.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been a pleasure serving for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uscg.mil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">United States Coast Guard<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This might be the last time that I will write from a boat while on patrol in the middle of the ocean.
