This might be the last time that I will write from a boat while on patrol in the middle of the ocean. It’s been five years coming and going out to sea. I’ve been in places that I wouldn’t even think of going before. I’ve seen so many things. I’m sure going to miss it, but it will soon be time to leave and continue on with the rest of my life.

I’m not going to lie, it’s been though. To be honest, I underestimated the USCG. It’s really not for everyone. You have to have some special type of character, patience, and perseverance. They make a good job not letting people that cannot endure such burden in bootcamp.
